Private Autopsy

Local Medical Examiner’s Offices often decide to not conduct an autopsy following a person’s death. In these cases, Dr. Chundru can perform the initial autopsy to answer questions about a loved one’s passing. As a forensic pathologist, he follows a deliberative, scientific, and comprehensive approach. Procedures are highly private and take place at Dr. Chundru’s facility or at another equipped facility. Dr. Chundru does not perform autopsies at funeral homes that lack the proper equipment and resources. When a loved one passes, the initial autopsy by the local Medical Examiner’s Office may not provide all of the answers that the family wants. Dr. Chundru can perform a second, private autopsy, which usually focuses on reviewing forensic records, medical analyses, and hospital and police reports.
